Anybody hear that soldier on Sam's show?
he's breaking my heart.

He's supporting torture... he's obviously got some problems with having been there.

He's injured, he was sent home from Iraq.... he calls the Iraqi's savages.

2. he calls the Iraqi's savages.
would we as a nation not be savages if our country was bombed back to the stone age, our children killed , our grandmother and grandfather , our mother covered with white Phosphorus..so their skin melted from them and they were left in streets for dogs to eat their carcases, if we had our hospitals bombed and our Ambulances bombed, our country's history stolen, our dignity stripped , having to drink for 3 years of water with feces in it, and very limited electric, too afraid to send our children to school, no jobs and living under an occupying force that has robbed our country of all its natrual resources and tortured our fellow countrymen, and Children??

Iraqi's are behaving like most occupied nations would..with totally incompetant occupiers..who want the civil war! For their own agenda!

3. We are already "savages" because we like torture and none of that
stuff has happened to us in our own country.

4. Sadly, I have to agree that you've nailed it for many of us.
I cannot believe the state of our country.

Welcome to DU. Glad you're on board.

6. While out "leadership" collects their campaign contributions
our military, paramilitary and mercenary personnel in other countries commit atrocities.

But hey, there may be a subway series and did you hear what that Chavez guy said? what a punk? :sarcasm:

Even Air America sells out to the putrid sour milquetoast "centrists."

Good to hear that Sam is doing well, now that I can't listen to him at all.

Good to see you, flyarm. :hi:
