"Here's to the land that you've torn apart."
Edited on Fri Sep-22-06 05:39 AM by Skidmore
Another DUer posted a song recently sung by Ed Vedder from Pearl Jam on VH1's Storytellers, a revision of "Here's to the State of Mississippi by Phil Ochs, called "Here's to the Land of George W." I downloaded it and finally listened to it a few minutes ago. It physically hurt to listen to this lament. As I listened, I didn't have tears come to my eyes, but ended up sobbing. It hurts to the bottom of the heart and soul to hear the litany of pain and destruction wrought by this state, the courts, the churches, and the business community on this nation.

Whoever posted that, thank you. I hope you read this and post the link again so those who didn't get a chance to hear it can listen.

1. I LOVE this song.
Do you have it as an mp3? I've been looking for it everywhere.
