Should our elected Dems be nice or be honest or be nasty?
Edited on Fri Sep-22-06 12:24 AM by babylonsister
Nice is admirable, as is honest, but how about fighting fire with fire? Should they respond to the
nasties they are bound to encounter, or not?

5. Be direct and to the point. What is this false dichotomy all about?
Things are what they are. This isn't about nice or nasty, it's about standing up for what we believe.

And if any one wants to bash about "liberals", I have to ask you...why do you still call yourself an American, just openly embrace fascism, totalitarianism. Go on a head.... coward.

7. At this point, frankly- I'd settle for fucking "present".
They seem dead set on turning every potential disaster for the GOP into a disaster for the Democratic Party.

10. Being honest would require being nasty, the way I see it.
Sitting on one's thumbs while the right-wing decides how far we can go torturing the world's people strikes me as being not only weak in the leadership department, but also mighty nefarious and indicates complicity in wishing to "have their way" in matters of war and aggression.

This past couple weeks, watching and reading the whole "torture debate" unfolding, has really opened my eyes to how "unrepresented" we actually are.

I don't think I care anymore who wins what seat here...I just want to see the bastards that rule us sitting in the hot seat at the Hague, being tried for putting bags over people's heads. Simple as that.

All of them.

11. Very good point. It's an ugly scenario that's gone past nasty.
The truth would be nice.

14. Do to them before they do it to you..................
Republican win because they go to the gutter and Democrats try to stay above the fray. Never give an inch..........slam them.
