2 million Mexicans are "Holding up traffic" while the violent Hungarian protestors are treated with kid cloves.

2. Because they have the nerve to actually get out in the streets and
protest their corrupt leader.

5. Your kidding right?
You do realize that 2 million people were out protesting in Mexico, thousands taking over the streets for almost exactly a month.

situation. They saw injustice and corruption and they went out on the streets in protest. Where are our prostests? 16 People at the UN? That's all we could muster for a well-publicized protest event? Good luck to the organizers of the October 5th event!

The implication of my comment is that the only hope we have of regaining our "sweet land of liberty" is to TAKE IT BACK, as is our civil and moral duty as citizens of the UNITED States of America.

We have troops dying because, deep down, we are cowards. We talk big amongst ourselves while those troops ARE STILL DYING in Iraq, ostensibly to protect our freedoms as those same freedoms are wrenched from us, and them, at home.

The lack of interest in the protest at the UN, based on the fact, I'm sure, that it was going forward without a permit, is most telling of our convictions. If it means personal sacrifice, like losing a job to attend or the real possibility of being arrested, or the possibility some scary new-fangled weapon might fry our eyeballs out, we would rather crawl under our comforters and hide and hope someone else will get us out of this mess.

We, ladies and gentlemen, are playing right into their hands and they laugh at us from dark places and whisper about how insanely easy it is for them to manipulate us at will. Unless we throw off the comforter and rise to the fight, WE WILL LOSE.

10. Oh, I was talking about Mexico from the start

Just a misunderstanding, never mind.

It was more than 16 protestors at the UN. There were thousands of ant-bush protestors and hundreds of anti Iran Protestors-

Here is one of many estimates-

If you were exagerating to make a point, your right... there should have been many more.

7. (I must be missing something.) What's Chernobyl have to do with Hungary?
Chernobyl is in the Ukraine. While Hungary and other nations were downwind and got bathed in the fallout of the reactor meltdown, I don't see the connection.

12. I know, it took me awhile to get it.
Then I re-read the topic and smiled.

But seriously does the media know they are being biased when they poo poo the "silly" little 2 million Mexicans and cheer for the brave freedom-loving Hungarians?
