Republicans will not be exempt from fighting for their country forever. And wonder what they will think when they have a loved one captured. A sister, a brother, and aunt or uncle or children or grandchildren. Of course the Islamic extremist will forever be torturers. But one day bush might start a war with a civilized country. Would those people then have any reason not to torture, the sister, the brother the aunt and uncle or children and grandchildren of the people that today praise this new law.

People won't throw it back in their face, but they will know it, they will know that it is their fault and theirs alone that other civilized countries feel no regret for only doing what our country started.
