1. Quite to the contrary. We have the playbook of pure moral cowardice.
Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., said Wednesday that Democrats were "on the sidelines watching the catfights" among Republicans on terrorism legislation.

2. Priorities shown by the Dem response re: Chavez, vs. Geneva.

3. Reid's dismissive and reductionist language re: torture debate "catfights
both fully infuriates and nauseates me at the same time. We don't elect and pay these people to go to Washington sit on the goddam "sidelines" watching with self-presrving amusement as the Constitution is being systematically shredded and used as toilet paper.

UNFORGIVABLE!

4. If this is all we can expect with such an important, unambiguous moral
issue like torture, no courage and just "triangulation", why should people feel optimistic about the actions of a Democratic congress to do what's right under such leadership?

What reason do Reid et. al. give to fight for a Democratic majority?

5. They've all crawled back into their rabbit holes.
They are trying to think of something they can push without those meany republicans calling them names and making them look soft on "terra".
