We will never be able to do anything about torture without a Dem congress. And we will not get one unless we STAY FOCUSED.

I'm saying that it was a given that this would happen. I don't like it, but pinning your hopes on McCain and Grahmam is foolish. When we, the base, give the Dems the house, we must use our influence to make them rescind this. Will it be easy? No. But crying about something that was bound to happen and letting it distract us is giving up. I'm not ready to give up.

Did everybody not get this? There HAS to be a bill. If -big if- this is a good bill, then Dems were wise not to jump in the fray too soon. If it's not, then we have ALL the Republicans down FOR torture. We need to see what's in the damned bill.
