Internet segment on Wolf's CNN show just directed to Recall Blanco...
Edited on Mon Jan-23-06 05:08 PM by DeepModem Mom
petition online! What the heck? Would they do the same for a recall drive for, say, Governor Rick Perry of Texas??? Bush of Florida?

The young woman in charge of the segment devoted quite a bit of time explaining how you, if you were a Louisiana voter, download and sign the petition.

Is it just my point of view, or is this wrong?

ON EDIT: I called CNN, FWIW. (404) 827-1700, ask for viewer comment, and you can leave a message or hold for nice reps who will take your comment, and say they will pass it on to executives/producers.

3. This is pretty blatant...
They don't appear to even try to hide their bias anymore. Either they're getting lazy or there's deep doo-doo ahead for these Neo-con fascists...

8. This was the plan from DAY ONE.. It was the REASON
for the "controversy" over who was in charge. they wanted to make Blanco appear "womanly/weak/indecisive". They stirred the pot with her and Nagin, knowing that they would take the bait. Both did, and FEMA's slow action was probably part of the plan too.. Get the two executives in charge to fight with each other, and the blame could be placed on THEM..Human nature being what it is, it was inevitable that they would fight each other.
Blanco had ONE chance and unfortunately she blew it.. She needed federal money, and she could have gone on TV and told it like it was, and how the withholding of federal aid was like extortion to take total control of the state..

in hindsight,m she probably should have turned control over and watched them take the fall for the mishandling, but she gave them cover instead.

10. How kind of CNN to inform the citizenry - without mentioning the Zogby
poll showing the majority of Americans favor impeaching Bush.

11. ALL of the media ops apparently received orders to go after
Blanco immediately after Katrina.

An obvious asset in my area (an Iraq embed on a major radio station) really outed himself on the Blanco thing, lying about her response while ignoring the death and suffering.

The CIA, or whatever they call it these days, is apparently running/rigging every aspect of American politics.
