Cafferty's questions for today -
Cafferty File

Jack Cafferty sounds off on the stories crossing his radar. Write in to answer Jack's hourly questions, and watch to see if he reads your response.

4 p.m.: Is it time for the Iraqis to replace Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki?

5 p.m.: What kind of role should the private sector play in securing the U.S. border with Mexico?

7 p.m.: What's your biggest complaint about Congress?

• Answer Jack's questions now
• Read some of your responses

Here is my letter for the 7 pm question -

That it is being run by a corrupt majority of Republicans who care more about power than this country. That they drag up false issues right before elections and there is a 32% of uninformed citizens who fall for it time and again. That the Republicans worry more about horses in the west dying than kids in Iraq dying. That they question my patriotism because I happen to disagree with them on most issues. That they have ignored healthcare for all Americans or minimum wage or border, port, mass transit security or the false economy that benefits only the rich. That they govern for the corporate donations and not the people. And I hate them because they are corrupt. Did I mention that one already...?

3. My e-mail excoriates the Congress for the rubber stamping virtually
the entire wish list, thereby abrogating their authority to one person.

2. Okay, I tackled the 4pm....
said basically "The Iraqi people must decide the political future of Iraq. The idea that America should have any input into the selection OR de-selection of Iraqi public figures proves that the Bush administration's most recent facile reason for our involvement (bringing democracy to the middle east) in a war of aggression in contravention to international law is equally as it's first excuse (Saddam's ties to Al Quaida), a lie." Since I don't actually WATCH McCafferty, I would appreciate a DU heads up if he uses it....Thanks, Cat
