hugo chavez came to harlem today.. and promised
cheap heating oil for the residents..he won over many NY-ers with that pledge. So, off I go today to fill up my gas tank at my local CITGO gas station.

More on the 5 PM news.

1. I drive across town these days to one of the 2 Citgo stations
Boycotting oil from the Middle East makes sense to me. I've been doing it for a while now.

2. It's not the first humanitarian gesture Hugo has offered America's poor.
He offered heating oil for the poor during last winter's record freezing temps, as well as for the gulf coast victims of Katrina, while at the same time American oil/gas companies were ratcheting up the prices, fully exploiting the poor and tragedy-stricken so to obscenely increase their profits to the max.

My partner and I use Citgo whenever possible.
