Oral sex causes cancer

Well, actually, HPV, tonsils and wingnuts cause cancer.

Mike Russo of Groupthinktank spots a study that says HPV can cause cancer of the tonsils.

According to The Cancer Herald, Swedish scientists at the Karolinska institute think that rising rates of oral sex can explain why tonsil cancer has been getting more common over the past few decades.

There is a vaccine that is 100% safe and effective at preventing HPV when it is administered to young girls. Of course, certain anti-sex zealots are doing everything they can to keep the HPV vaccine out of the standard pediatric immunization schedule.

Maybe if they know that HPV imperils the tonsils of men as well as the cervixes of women, they might soften their stance.

3. HPV can infect men and women equally

A study is being done right now to see if the Human Papilloma Virus is responsible for causing cancer of the penis. Anyway, it seems logical that a woman who gets HPV got it from having sex with a man who has HPV; administering the vaccine to men should greatly decrease the number of men who carry the virus, thus greatly decreasing the number of women who get the virus.
