Is Anyone Watching Rick Santorum
FEAR, FEAR, FEAR
BE AFRAID, BE AFRAID, BE AFRAID

How do we combat this way of the Repukes talking? Some Do Not Be Afraid doesn't sink in like BE AFRAID.

22. WWARD?
What would Ann Richards do?

I think that you are dead on with your assessment of how to deal with them. Elected Democratic leaders and Dem talking heads would do well to come up with a snappy line a la Ann Richards, belittling how fearful the republican party is. Talk about how strong we are, and our strength & pride comes from our Constitution & Bill of Rights. The moment we step away from those documents we hand a victory to our enemies--an enemy that doesn't own a single tank, battleship, or airforce. Paint the republicans for the sniviling cowards that they are.

11. some people want to cower in fear.
As an American I am ashamed that some people want to cower in fear. For our supposed leaders to keep this message going is just telling the other side, whoever they are, your tactic is working and our people are terrified of you. I do not understand why Democrats are not saying this. You can live free and we together as a nation work on this problem or be so afraid you let W and his gang of chicken hawks do whatever they please in our name. What ever happened to the American spirit. Franklin Delano Roosevelt told us that we had nothing to fear but fear itself, and he was right.

14. Absolutely
Just the fact that so many are so afraid show us that the "terrorists" have won. If only the Dems could get some spine and come out and say it. I believe the American spirit may have died with JFK!

13. This Nation's only hope is the genius of the People.
If the People cower in fear and give away their liberties, our Nation will disintegrate in time. If the People see through the fearmongering and lies of the criminal cabal, we may be able to survive.

I am saddened to say I am not optimistic.

How many millions voted for Bush THE SECOND TIME???

Maybe it would be better in the longrun if the country does divide. Right now, half the country is paying taxes to support an enormous war machine that is not protecting us. I do not like to pay taxes to support the imperialism of Jesusland. I want to live in a country that takes care of its citizens, not just the rich.

"I'm Not Scared Enough to Vote Republican"

I too wich that America would quit being a bunch of "pansy assed snivveling little fucking cowards". At a minimum, I would point out that If America was truly afraid, it wouldn't pick a "fucked-up, coke addled, Kennebunkport Kowboy" to protect them.

Let's see, if I'm really afraid, do I pick the guy who bravely defended Alabama from the Vietcong invasion, failed to take his flight physical, was grounded, and went AWOL, or do I want the guy that was in the jungle.

Fuck Repukes and their Fucking Fear-a-thon. Truth is, I wouldn't want * or his 5 time deferment buddy on my side in a bar-fight, let alone a dangerous world. Hell, one of the fuckers can't even shoot a fucking quail.

18. Democrats keep Americans safe while Republicans make them tremble in fear
For over forty years Democrats controlled congress and americans slept well at night. Since Republicans took control Americans tremble in fear. Is that what you want, to tremble in fear or sleep well knowing your government is keeping you safe?
