Just heard on local radio: $1.94 for gallon of gas in Kentucky.
...Saying that "low gas prices are turning up in very odd places..."

It ain't odd at all. Placating the angry base by slashing gas prices in the weeks leading up to the election is the GOP strategy...

Whatever it's going to take to stay in power. Slash gas prices. Legislate (unconstitutional) Voter ID. Bray about a 700-mile long fence along our southern border. The GOP Congress shields * from his war crimes.

Openly disenfranchise as many poor, black and elderly voters as possible, in every imaginable manner possible. Finish the year-long willful criminal neglect of devastated New Orleans.

Shove Social Security under the guillotine, again.

Stonewall any attempts for universal health care.

Continue to violate law by wiretapping and eavesdropping on Americans' communications.

Continue to operate secret prisons, where many innocent people are held indefinitely, without access to an attorney, without access to the evidence against them, without access to their families.

Continue beating the drums of war, war, war, with Iran next in *'s sights, even as the IAEA and other experts have reported repeatedly that Iran does not have an advanced level of enriched uranium.

Keep ignoring the growing groups of U. S. military experts and intelligence analysts saying with deafening intensity that to go to war in Iran will be a catastrophic move.

Keep up the illegal executive signing statements, thereby bypassing Congress to formulate *'s own laws as he sees fit.

Defy the Supreme Court when it ruled in June, 2006 that *'s military tribunals are unconstitutional.

My friends, when this administration circumvents the Legislative Branch and defies the Judicial Branch, we have officially arrived at tyranny.

1. I've seen it as low as $2.25 in my neighborhood.
West Pasco County in Florida.

The other side of the county, and areas of Tampa are still over $2.50.

2. I'm in North KC - we are at 1.999
Sure is a lot better than 2.99 or whatever it got up to. I am spending about $10 less to fill my tank.

3. I live in Austin Texas, very blue, and gas is still 2.49.
If you live in red areas, the gas is lower.
