Question about KO/Countdown & Dem leadership
I watch as often as I can, and yet I still have the niggling feeling that I've rarely seen any Congress-people on Countdown (apart from in clips). I believe Keith had John Conyers on regarding the Ohio election fiasco, but I can't think of anyone else off the top of my head. Is it that rare? And if so, why?

I'm just thinking how most of the "liberal" media won't invite the Dems on, but surely Keith would give them air-time on Countdown if they wanted it?

1. I believe Howard Dean was on a few weeks ago as was Al Gore
Gore was on several times while he was promoting "An Inconvenient Truth".

I'm pretty sure I've seen a few congresscritters on the show--but aside from Conyers, none were particularly memorable.

3. When Air America first came on, they hardly had any politicians on either.
It was like the Congress-critters and other liberal politicians were afraid to be heard on Air America. But now of course they have many politicians. I guess the liberal politicians have gotten over their fear of getting their message out to the people.

4. Hm. Maybe we could write to KO and ask to see more on?
I'm certainly up for it. It'd be heartening to see and hear the Dems, and hopefully they'd take advantage of it and ratchet this battle up a notch with more hard-hitting TRUTH!
