Possibility of election fraud FRONT PAGE of Dallas Morning News
:applause::woohoo:
Mainstream! Woohoo!

Ballot switch lacking vote of confidence

Anger, frustration and a money dispute dominated primary elections in Jefferson County this year. But that had little to do with the candidates on the ballot. The ballot itself was at issue, namely the county's switch from clunky punch-card ballots to slick new electronic voting machines. The company that provided the machines didn't have them programmed in time for early voting. Despite a heavy investment in technology, the Gulf Coast county had to prepare paper ballots. Election watchdogs fear similar problems – perhaps even fraud – or worse in November's general elections.
• Tampering is too easy, experts say
• Tell Us: Are you concerned about vote fraud or lost results?

4. It's significant to note that
the Dallas News is an extremely conservative newspaper. But you can bet that if Dems win big in November, the Republicans will be screaming about voter problems!

5. The Da.M.N., as we used to call it.
Even a broken clock is right twice a day. I just wish the Da.M.N. had covered the electronic voting irregularities in the 2002/2004 elections. Thank goodness the beast seems to be stirring - at last - from its long, pernicious hibernation.

6. What bothers me about this
is that if Democrats win big in November, then the media and the Republicans will say "see, we told you there was election fraud and it's the Democrats who are committing it" and then the Repubs will commence filing lawsuits to have elections overturned.

Somebody hold me and reassure me that I'm overreacting.

9. Yeah...
... and how can they overturn elections when we could apparently do JACK SHIT about the obvious fraud in 2004 and probably 2002?

If this does happen Dems can look in the mirror.
