Bushitler's lapdog AG wants your ISPs' User Data
Just fuck them all. I'm sure they really want to use this information to track child pornography. :sarcasm: We all know its to look for us subversives, so I say again just FUCK YOU Shrub!

Associated Press 11:15 AM Sep, 19, 2006

WASHINGTON -- Attorney General Alberto Gonzales said Tuesday that Congress should require internet service providers to preserve customer records, asserting that prosecutors need them to fight child pornography.

Testifying to a Senate panel, Gonzales acknowledged the concerns of some company executives who say legislation might be overly intrusive and encroach on customers' privacy rights. But he said the growing threat of child pornography over the internet was too great.

"This is a problem that requires federal legislation," Gonzales told the Senate Banking Committee. "We need information. Information helps us makes cases."

6. This is sooo easy to defeat....
users simply form an encrypted VLAN tunnel for ALL of your traffic to an offshore (and beyond the scope of intercepts),
then go wherever you want. Let Gonzales try to get information from the offshore redirection service. All they can
do is close off the access from your local ISP to foreign countries... and if they do, then the Internet is toast.

8. I have no doubt that this mis-administration
Will close off access to foreign Countries with the help of Gonzales. I would have answered sooner but I left for a day without access to a computer.
