Sci-Fi Channel is showing the Twilight Zone episode recently
mentioned in one of Keith Olbermann's monumental commentaries.

Just sayin' ... it's a interesting sidebar.

2. Well, I'll be damned! It is! Who owns SciFi? NBC?

This cannot be a coincidence.

Yep! GE owns NBC, MSNBC, Bravo, and the SciFi channel.

2005 revenues: $157.2 billion
General Electric media-related holdings include television networks NBC Universal and Telemundo, Universal Pictures, Focus Features, 38 television stations in the U.S., and cable networks such as MSNBC, Bravo and the Sci Fi Channel.

I've always had a special place in my heart for "The Twilight Zone".

Not the new version, and not the Outer Limits.

Give me classic "Twilight Zone".

(My fav. episode: the one about the beautiful woman who ends up in a reality where symmetricism is UGLY. Not just ugly, but oh-my-God-I-need-to-scream-my-head-off, ugly.

That was a fun one. :D)

5. Agreed. It was "don't miss" TV for me, for sure.

I also agree regarding the follow-up shows ... lame.

This one's ("The Monsters Are Due on Maple Street") from March 04, 1960. I remember it well.
I was a junior in high school and had just move to a new neighborhood and started in a new high school ... for my last three semesters. To say I was alert to "human nature" would be an understatement.

6. I feel the same way about Twilight Zone, as well as some other
wholesome black and white TV shows that we watched as children, like Leave it to Beaver and the Andy Griffith Show, et al.

I have many favorite Twilight Zone episodes, it would be impossible to name just one ;)
