1. Who cares ?
If the GOP win, let them reap what Bush has sown. Sometimes you have to hit bottom, until you head up.

Let the bushbots ram this country into the ground with KKKarl's help. They're almost there now with 6 years of GOP control. Let them answer for it.

10. Many churches are concerned that W cares less about the poor
or the needy than he does about pay offs to radical right wing churches.

4. I...can't post it, 'cause it would violate site rules. Let's just say
it's sort of on your list though. And that the Party will be going for the "sympathy" vote afterward.

6. here's where I put the odds.

Osama Bin Laden "captured"? (15%)

Terrorist attack on American soil? (25%)

Major terrorist attack on American target overseas? (35% if it includes military attack, most likely from "Iran")

Forein leader assassinated? (2% what voter would care?)

American/Israeli attack on Iran? (3% involving Israel would enflame everything)

North Korean nuke test? (20% Just because Kim wants to keep Bush in power)

7. Hmmm... I think something less obvious than those examples
But could be quickly turned into a sound bite or catch phrase that people could remember.

Fr'instance.... Chavez again offers to supply cheap oil to poor people.

The RW screams... DUMPING! They're trying to undermine our capitalist dream by taking a loss! How can we compete? This is a disaster for Exxon, Amoco, etc!

Elect Repubs, we knew all along about the dastardly Venezuelan plot! Vote us in and we'll..... do something.

9. I know what I want it to be.
National clean energy policy, new education initiative called 'Teaching Our Kids How to Think!, National Health Care,
Congress Declares Corporations are NOT people. Paper Ballots. Bush and Company volunteer to go on trial for crimes
against humanity. Robert Novak reveals he has no reflection in a mirror. Cheney rips off his latex mask and reveals his
lizard face while eating bugs from a Pez dispenser. Bush starts laughing during one of his speeches to cadets and confesses
in a New England accent he can't pretend to be so stupid any longer. Flying Saucer lands on the White House lawn and an alien
in a silver suit lectures the world about war and how stupid it is.

14. A headline-grabbing Cabinet change.
Dick Cheney steps down. Former Indiana Senator Dan Coates, ever the Company Man, is named to replace him.

Bush shuffles Condiliar out of the State Department. She becomes the new Ambassador to Russia or returns to a cushy job at Chevron.

James Baker agrees to be interim Sec. of State. After the midterms, Bush fills the spot with one of the defeated GOP Congressional or Senate candidates.

Bush withdraws the nomination of John Bolton and in his place appoints Tom Kean, Sr., Co-Chair of the 9/11 Commission, who doesn't want the job but takes it because it is seen to enhance his son's chances of winning the NJ Senate seat, and it's only for 2 years anyway. Kean Sr. is easily as incompetent as Bolton, but easier to swallow for eventual confirmation by the Senate.

Rumsfeld is shown the door. Baker prevails upon Bush to dump him 3 weeks before Nov. 7 to round the edges of the Iraq issue. Tom "Duct Tape" Ridge is appointed as his replacement. Ridge doesn't want the job but he didn't really want Homeland Security either. He's appointed in the first place because Bush needs a total hack to finish out the 2 years of the term. Lieberman loses to Lamont in November; Ridge steps down after the 110th Congress is sworn in and Bush appoints Lieberman to finish out the term in that post.

A Special White House Envoy is named for New Orleans Restoration. Bush taps J.C. Watts of Oklahoma. Big PR push to demonstrate Republican commitment to victims of Katrina, etc.

By March of 2007 John Conyers has a certain file ready for the consideration of Democratic Congressional leaders.
