FoxNews just called for a boycott of Citgo gas.
It may have been local Fox, but there he was, a blonde young reporter with a Repub haircut sneering as he said that when you buy gas from Citgo, you're giving money to Chavez.

2. aren't you sending money to terrorists
and Iran and whoever else we are supposed to be at war with when you buy gas/oil from the Mid-East? Or is Venezuela responsible for the World Trade Center attacks now?

4. Well, it's a good thing we're on good terms with China.
I just can't imagine where those Republicans would find the flags they wrap themselves in, if it weren't for those Made in China, American flags.

6. Snopes addresses this --
"Citgo may be owned by Petróleos de Venezuela, it is a formerly American company which is still headquartered in the U.S. (in Houston, Texas), employs 4,000 people, and supplies 14,000 independent retailers with gasoline and other petroleum products — Americans with no substantive connection to Venezuela who would be economically harmed by such an action. And, of course, in today's oil market Citgo's products will continue to find buyers whether or not they're purchased by Americans.

As we've noted in many other articles discussing various schemes regarding where and how people should purchase gasoline, the global and fungible nature of the world oil market doesn't really provide consumers with many effective opportunities to influence political issues through their buying patterns."

Figures that an ignorant hairdo on Pox News wouldn't have a clue...

13. I have a better idea.
I buy Citgo gas whenever possible, and ALWAYS boycott Faux News. I have it locked out with parental controls, just so my dogs can't watch it when I'm not home!

15. Ehhh, No Biggie To Me. I Couldn't Care Less If People Go To Citgo Or Not.
I'm not even sure if I've gotten gas there myself even. Don't really have too many within my travels I guess. Generally I go to Shell, but could really not care less where someone else gets their gas from to be honest with ya.
