1. He's so smart. Clinton said: "Chavez should have just told the truth:

we've tried your democracy and your trade and still we have many poor people. We need to try some things to make our people more equitable" (not verbatim).

"Polarizing people just turns into a spiral and it just gets worse and worse".

Why isn't he President!! (and I'm from Canada!)

2. It is weird to think that I
once respected the office of president. I watch Clinton speak and I am baffled. I now find it impossible to respect the office of the President. It's like, "Whoa. He's not an idiot. That's not right." But it is really. Bush is the one that's wrong.

3. Clinton was better than what we have now but he
served the same corporate masters as Bush. Remember Clinton signed into law the Don't Ask, Don't Tell, Defense of Marriage Act, Welfare "Reform", and NAFTA. Hardly the legacy of a progressive.

Few of those intiatives would have gotten through a democratically controlled congress had a Republican pushed for them.

5. I so miss Clinton
He included "the people" in prosperity, not just the corporations.

It's so good to hear an American president expressing intelligence in an eloquent manner. It's been badly missed.
