Mr. and Mrs. Wright:
I am writing to you because I believe your actions are harming your children, as well as many other parents children. I am concerned about you and your well-being. Are you all right?

Please. Sit down and think about some things.

In the amount of time that seems to be from yesterday to today, you have voted for, repeatedly, a government that is hell bent on hurting your family.

Do you have kids getting ready for or going to college? Have you checked out what has happened in recent years regarding assistance from federal loan and grant agencies? It's appalling.

Have you really worked for the past 30 or 40 years, paying into the system that systematically took a percentage of every paycheck, so that the money you paid would not be paid back to you?

Are you lucky enough to be able to afford the incredible costs of health care for your family? I hope so, but if you find yourself having a harder time than you did a few years ago, think about the actions your federal government has taken to make it that way.

Do you know anyone who has joined the armed services? Do you know of anyone who was sent overseas? Do you know of anyone who is currently in Iraq or Afghanistan? Do you know of anyone who has died there?

Do you find yourself smoking more, or drinking more than you did a few years ago?

Do you ever wonder why this country has more people in prison per capita than any other country on the planet? If it's the greatest country in the world with the most opportunities, then why is this the case?

Do you ever wonder what your grandchildren will be living with environmentally? How they will obtain affordable, clean water? How they will be able to obtain safe foods to eat? How they will be able to survive a rise in temperatures worldwide that causes worldwide calamities that will cause one to think Katrina was just an earth hiccup?

Mr. and Mrs. Wright, I wish the best for you.

I hope that more of us are right about where this world should be going than are not.

Sincerely,

MW
