I admit to being one who can't watch commercials, so was wondering if his stands have affected the MSNBC coin counters at all?

thanks for letting me know..............

1. Probably neither gained nor lost
although it may be hard to tell as yet.

A lot of the advertisers seem to be the same, but that's how ads usually are on MSNBC...they come and go in cycles...an advertiser will buy three months or so of really heavy advertising, then nothing for a while, then come back again later.

Most of the ads seem to be the same from show to show. I think many times, if not all the time, they're buying time on the network, not on a show per se.
