How do you think Dog the Bounty Hunter pissed Bush off?
Edited on Wed Sep-20-06 05:22 PM by Chomskyite
My theory is he donated heavily to some Democrat's political campaign or that he put one of Bush's friends or or the spoiled rich kid of one of Bush's friends in the hoosgow.

Update: I'm not finding any Dem campaign donations on opensecrets.org, or any pro-Bush comments from google. But a poster below says there's a picture of Bush up in the guy's office.

5. And it's still absurd to arrest somebody who has caught a serial rapist.
I'm sorry but if anybody drugs & rapes 86 women on video, then they deserve to be brought down by any means necessary.

No record of any Duane Chapman donating to the Democrats.

2. Not likely, he adores bush
Why do you think otherwise, because he was arrested for jumping bail in Mexico?

10. He has a high opinion of himself!
"He claims he was traded for Francisco Rafael Arellano Felix, a Mexican drug lord who is alleged to have run the Tijuana drug cartel."

4. The US Justice Dept had to okay his arrest
So I'm thinking Gonzales had to give the okay. I just wonder why he waited 3 years to arrest Dog and why it's suddenly important to make the Mexicans happy now?

11. I can't watch that show. Between the constant praying (after cussing
like a sailor - there are more beeps on that show than pagers going off at a prostitute convention) and then preaching to the people he just called the scum of the earth five seconds earlier (he is just positive that he can turn around a Meth addict in a five minute car ride to the police station), to that damn picture of Chucklenuts he has in his office makes it must not watch TV. I have seen the show a couple of times and that is time I will never get back. Just not my cup of tea.

I do hate that he has been arrested for such a silly thing, Andrew Luster needed to be arrested ASAP. If our police and the Mexican officials couldn't get this guy then I say go, Dog, go. How many women did they save? Does anyone think that Chimpy's Justice Dept couldn't have pulled a few strings and gotten this deal "disappeared" if it tried? Wonder why they didn't? I'm thinking maybe our diplomacy and world leader skills are just a tad rusty and our word doesn't carry much weight anymore. Just a guess.

16. I hear ya
The picture of Bush would sure make it unlikely he offended the Bush junta.

I don't necessarily agree that cussing is all that much a sin according to christians. It does go against how christians whould conduct themselves according to their boy Paul the Apostle. They just view it more as disrespectful and undignfied more than anything.

19. I think...
it may have SOMETHING to do with the fact that we're spending five brazillion dollars to rebuild the fucking Berlin Wall on our southern border, and the Mexican government's just slightly pissed about it.

So we give up Dog, who after all is looking down the barrel at some hard time in Mexico because the Mexican government calls what Dog does "kidnapping," and the Mexicans quit their official whining about the fence.

12. He offered to catch Bin Laden. No kidding.
He said give him a million bucks and he'd go to Pakistan (or wherever) and find OBL in six weeks. (He might have said six months, but that's the gist of it.)

:kick:

Maybe this is Gonzales' attempt to blackmail him so he'll provide his services for free.

it's about putting the billionaire serial rapist in prison for life when he had a suuu-weeeet set-up in mexico

* would not want to be hunted down by "dog" or any dog-like person himself one day while he's hiding from the world court in los cabos
