Lady Chimp: Most popular republican in the country right now..
Too bad for them she's not running for anything.

-snip-
The president has been a polarizing political presence both at home and abroad, but his wife remains popular. A Gallup-USA Today poll in June found that 69 percent of Americans had a favorable view of the first lady, much higher than the president's approval rating of 40 percent.

"I think she is the most popular Republican in the country right now," said Myra G. Gutin, a first-lady historian at Rider University in Lawrenceville, N.J. "I think the public relations value is tremendous. It's not out of the ordinary for the first lady to be called upon when her popularity exceeds that of her husband."

stuck with this idiot for a husband.

I think she's just as evil as he is. She's supported his stupid decisions for decades, no one could do such a thing unless they truly agree.

All I say is keep the keys to the Impala hidden from her!

5. Why is she so popular?
Her political views are similar to Busholini's. She promotes the RWing Agenda. My guess: She has a nice smile and her voice isn't shrill or sarcastic. She comes off as a nice person. I have viewed her interviews several times and she seems phony and shallow. Apparently, millions do not share my impression.

9. She comes off as a nice person...
that's it. She's non-controversial, and vaguely pleasing and pleasant in tone and action, in a fake southern lady way.

She rarely opens her mouth and when she does, it's never anything of any consequence, and she says it with that sweet southern drawl. She's a Stepford Wife, there's no "there" there.

14. People who believe she's a nice person should take a look at this picture.

Nice attitude to have at the funeral of a respected and admired American icon, is it not? Mrs. King did so much for America, more than Laura Bush will ever do. Unless, of course, you count the damage her prick of a husband has done to the country. Then, that ranks.

Just look at the two of them sitting there. Bush slumped over like he couldn't care less. And he couldn't. It's a disgrace.

6. Must be the sympathy she showed to victims of Hurricaine Karina (sic).
That's what persuaded me she isn't any brighter than her husband, either.
