Wingnut strategy/rationalizing: "Best for us if we LOSE 1 or both houses"

My local radio wingnut (and I DO mean WINGNUT, a 29%er) talkshow host said this morning that the best thing that could happen for Repuke chances in '08 (for prez) would be for Dems to win one or both houses of Congress BECAUSE (drumroll): "We need somebody to share the blame with for the mess in prelude to '08. That way the playing field would even out for us."

He added that if Dems win control of one or both houses, Dems will go hog wild and get everybody mad.

The day after the dems control one or both the house and senate they will be blamed for everything. bush will be a victim. By 2008, dems will be warmongers while bush is just trying to seek peace and overcome the shortcomings of Clinton's CIA.

Classic conservatism. Do not ever take responsibility for anything gone bad. And don't worry our ignorant slut base won't blame us for anything anyway. Without them we wouldn't be in power today.
