One fundies response to an Evolution question on Howstuffworks.com
The question: Evolution: Science or Hypothesis?

Evolution is not a science or a Hypothesis. It is a religion, and a dangerous one at that. You see, you have to believe there is no God. The dangerous of evolution can be proven most vividly by the Columbine shooting. But, honestly, Evolution teaches children that they are nothing more then a glorified ape, that there great great great… grandpa was a worm. Evolution is dangerous because it completely undermines any worth that an individual has.
There is absolutely no evidence to support Evolution. If you research any aspect of Evolution you’ll see that the information was fabricated, or proven wrong years ago. There is no “geological column”. The only place it exists is in text books. A scientist will tell you that the fossils are dates by the rocks, and then turn around and tell you that the rocks are dated by the fossils. Any educated man or child can tell you that that is circular reasoning. The Grand Canyon is not evidence of evolution, it is quite the opposite. Research and you will see that there is only ignorant people leading the idea of evolution, scared to admit there is a high power that must be acknowledged.

God can create everything just with his words, and did. And a teacher can destroy a child just by teaching evolution, and have. No creature has ever spawned something that was not of its kind. Sure, all dogs could have come from the same dog, but no dog has ever birthed a non-dog, and no tree has ever seeded a non-tree.
There is absolutely no evidence to support Evolution and virtually every reason why it should not be taught.
Thank you,
Spiry

4. demanding hard proof for Evolution, but blind faith on Creationism
typical.

They arrogantly attack science, and require proof after proof after proof, and still deny.

But when you try to apply their standards for science to their religion, they get offended and say it needs no proof.

5. Another Said Product Of Homeschooling, I'm Afraid -
Or no schooling at all - even my son (14) knows better than to make claims without accompanying evidence - though he has also learned that "everybody else's parents let them" doesn't rise to the level of evidence.

6. A mind really IS a terrible thing to waste.
Sad that the writer 'Spirey' thinks his tortured gibberish
actually adds up to some sort of arguement- any sort.
It doesn't.

That paragraph looks like something written by a
less-than-infinite number of monkeys...

Huh?

He may not believe in evolution, but he has proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that devolution is thriving! :eyes:

12. There is so much logically and factually wrong with this.
Logically, Columbine has nothing to do with evolution. Children aren't taught they are glorified apes, and even if they believe that, it doesn't mean that they don't have or shouldn't have worth. The fossil and grand canyon arguments make no sense.

Also, you can believe in evolution and God at the same time. Who would have created evolution? God.

Factually, evolution is not religion and this person knows that. The dog and tree arguments are wrong.
