New direction in Iraq

Last night CNN brought on the very shrewd envoy who put together the 'Dayton Accord' for the Bosnian conflict under Clinton.(can't recall his name) He confirmed what many had thought. We did Iran a favor by removing Saddam, their biggest obstacle, and managed to put in power the Shia group, who now go to Iran for directions. So it's kind of goofy to continue sacrificing our troops for the Iranian cause. We definitely should re-deploy our troops to Afghanistan in pursuit of the people who attacked us on 9/11. Let the Civil conflict play out in Iraq, which will put Iran back on their heels and let the Islamic world work it out.
