This one needs some time alone with his Karma, maybe on suicide watch at the Hague for the safety of the whole world and all citizens.

Karl Rove of course should be boiled down into a mass that can be forced into a mold and made into a doorstop at the Hague as well.

Cheney could be the happy cyborg that greets you at the door of the Hague, his computerized voice and brain replacement cheeryfully reciting all the rules of the Geneva Convention as a reminder - while his real brain sits in a jar in the basement kept alive and horrified, knowing it's body is upstairs doing some GOOD :)

minutiae level...a lot of his viewers do not read I suspect.

Gonzales to "test" international law and the abuse of Prisoners/citizens by our own Govt and what they can get away with, ping ponging a citizen between two countries to control them and strip them of legal rights HERE while doing it..

If you get a chance to watch "Dog's Family Speaks" please watch it - he went to Mexico to snag a total scumbag, a scion of the Max Factor family who'd been convicted of EIGHTY SIX counts of drugging women and raping them, and all on Video Tape.

Dog captured the guy, but then was arrested by the Mexican govt for Kidnapping THERE - the scumbag was brought back to the US and is doing 120 years in prision now. But only a few days before the statute of limitations ran out, Darth Vaders Stormed Dog's Home (and his brother and son's home) and dragged them to the Federal Pen.. he may now be shipped back to mexico to serve for his "crime" there.

If you watch the show you can see it's POLITICAL, the rich Pervert called his govt pals, who were glad to have him safe in Mexico, and once he got caught and jailed HERE in the US, his money reached out and Gonzales is now Destoying the life of a Man who Brings Criminals back to court.

Granted it's a lot of showboating by Dog in the show, these people are small potatoes and need help, but he at least treats them with respect and even tries to help them, I've known bail bondsmen and they are the lowest form of life on the planet, this guy actually DOES help some of the poorer folks here in the Islands, crushing the ICE drug scene at the same time.

For him to be used as a pawn in Bush's admin is a crime, and I want to help the guy, maybe with a flash showing how this is Political and could happen to any of us - this is the nose in the camel's tent to me..

But I see your point, the show is not something to be proud of, but the man's paid his dues and is trying to make a better society and for that I'll stand with him..

3. He Didn't Disappoint...

No one took what that asshat uttered as anything other than another photo-op/campaign speech. It wasn't taken seriously and the forced applause spoke volumes as to how little respect he has...those claps were for the "office", not the imposter squatting in that office. The delegates expected an obstinate, ignorant and moronic cowboy and that's what they got...flanked by all the losers who remind these diplomats daily how terrible this regime is.

If anything we were all grading today. This thing wasn't too stupid, that one was more obnoxious...varying degrees, but all on the level of knowing what he was saying is bullshit and nothing positive was going to be offered. Gone is the warmth and respect a Clinton, Carter or even Raygun generated in that venue. This is where the President is supposed to be the "leader of the free world"...not the "CEO of a fear and death factory".

Just the fact this speech is being overshadowed by this regime's efforts to legitimize torture, trials by secret tribunal and wholesale spying and wiretapping on its own people isn't missed by anyone in that room. It's like the reception they gave Soviet leaders.

But his assholiness doesn't care. He uses the UN as a place to get brownie points with his shrinking base...whipping up the "get the UN out of the US and the US out of the UN" nuts out there and that's all he cares about.

7. America Myopia

Something I've long believed in...this country has lived in a cultural bubble that has manifested itself in booosh and his kool-aid drinkers.

Blame it on our own "hollywood media"...where people have been brought up to believe in total U.S. superiority and infalibility in all areas...religion, war, politics, sports. When a different country runs counter to the "national norm" then they are either alien or primitive or somehow inferior. The U.N. is nothing more than a house full of these inferiors who should be kissing John Bolton's ass and grateful for American "might".

The ignorance of these cultures have led to intolerance that became a badge of honor for these oxygen thieves and have destroyed the reputation of this nation in the eyes of most of the world. Our standards of "freedom" ring hollow when you hear that asshat mangle the language and then contort and distort what "freedom" means.

I really suspect there is something to create 1/3 of our people sick in the mind...they apparently cannot handle reality and worse, cling to fantasy instead.

Bush is being led around like a ringed water buffalo, confused and bewildered...by a 7 foot sick man. America is being drained, both in spirit and resources, classic strategies described by militarists of old. Osama adheres to protraction...a long term war...TIRE them, hit them when unexpected, drain them...etc

In return, we cling to old strategies that are not fruitful...we are not adapting to better ways to contend fast enough. Our Generals and the GOP Led Administration are too easy for our enemies....
