Anyone listening to Gen. Downing in Iraq being interviewed on MSNBC?

He says that they are doing all they can do and it has to be the POLITICIANS in Iraq who need to step up and start doing their job of governing.

That exact point was made by Kerry when he first submitted his withdrawal plan, and he along with Murtha, emphasized that there was no military success to be had in Iraq, only political success. And that Iraqi politicians were using Bush's willingness to stay as reason to stall and not institute their own governance.


Another Dems were right moment. Not that the corpmedia will see it that way. Dems have no plans, dontchaknow?

and THAT is why a TIMELINE is so important - it forces them to learn to ride.

And part of that means LEARN how to get along with the different factions - TALK TO THEM.
