Unfortunately, it ain't Bush or Cheney.

"We lied throughout the past one and a half or two years," he said. "We lied in the morning, we lied in the evening and also at night."

(This is the Hungarian prime minister, secretly taped at a party meeting, a tape that was later leaked to the press, leading to widespread rioting. Of course he's not quitting. Bush et al have made lying respectable.)
