Any one listening to this Miniter guy on Washington Journal now?
Guess he never worked inside the corrections system in the US. He's describing how when Gitmo prisoners were allowed to have interactions with one another, they formed "cells" in the prison. Then he proceeded to go on about ways in which they did this--from groups to monitor guard movements to making weapons from common items. NOTHING he described was unusual or different from any other group of prisoners reacting to being held in prison here in the US. They keep imbuing these people with some superhuman or extraevil qualities. Then this somehow justifies torture. If you sort the political rhetoric out and the hype, you are left with a bunch of people rebelling against being held in prison conditions, and pretty stark ones at that.

2. This "terrorist analyst", who just clarified himself that he is a
"journalist" thinks we're being too soft on detainees.

Maybe Al Queda got the idea from Hogan's Heros.

4. He also llied his ass off. Remember that Belgian team found
the prisoners at Gitmo are getting TERRIBLE healthcare?

And, he keeps saying "al Qaeda" when more than 80% of those prisoners never aimed a weapon at Coalition forces?

And, the Geneva Conventions DO cover civilians.

The Cabal can't charge these peoople because they have nothing on them. They are being FALSELY incarcerated.

Though he has never worn the uniform, he has worked closely with the intelligence officers amd covered Iraq.

I liked that tidbit "Amnesty has never been to GTMO" well No since we won't let them in!

9. I think they are afraid if they get too confrontational with their guests,
the guest won't return on their show.
