"An unwavering and commanding look of ignorance."
I've been busy and haven't been able to post in a while (just realized I lost my star - time to donate), but I couldn't resist linking to this description of a bronze bust of dear leader. The site sells copies of busts and statues, most of which are classical or from the Renaissance, but this oddity was included for some reason. While most of the text seems to almost damn with faint praise, there are also lots of excuses given.

Eleganza: George W Bush 16" $280.00

This George W Bush picture is a bronze bust with a unwavering and commanding look of ignorance.

George W. Bush is the 43rd President of the United States.

President Bush served for six years as the 46th Governor of the State of Texas.

President George Bush was born on July 6, 1946, in New Haven, Connecticut.

President Bush received a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School in 1975.

Quanity:

George W Bush
Bush was elected Texas Governor on November 8, 1994, with 53.5 percent of the vote. He was re-elected on November 3, 1998, with 68.6 percent of the vote.

Governor George W Bush earned a reputation as a compassionate conservative and shaped public policy based on the principles of limited government, personal responsibility, strong families, and local control.

Since taking office on January 20, 2001, President Bush primary achievements have been: improved public schools by raising standards, requiring accountability, and strengthening local control; tax relief that provided rebate checks and lower tax rates for everyone who pays income taxes in America; increased pay and benefits for America's military; and is working to save and strengthen Social Security and Medicare.

Less than nine months after taking office President George W Bush has had to deal with an unprecedented terrorist attack on New York City and the Pentagon, major corporations doctoring their books, no assets internet stocks collapsing, a major fall in the stock market, fighting a war on terrorism in Afghanistan, and a war in Iraq.

Presidents primary theme has been: all Americans to be "citizens, not spectators; citizens, not subjects; responsible citizens building communities of service and a Nation of character."

If you are a collector of American President merchandise, this bronze bust of President George W Bush is sculpted by Boris Spivak to give the feeling of a fatherly figure and a leader of the greatest nation on earth.

1. It would be totally and utterly wrong for anyone to even contemplate...
...buying a bunch of these statues, opening a target range, and selling tickets to 'have a pop at the Moron.' Such behavior would be scurrilous, no matter how much money it made.

2. I`m sooooooooo disappointed.
Mr. Spivak should have chosen to show Bush in full military gear with particular attention paid to all his Vietnam War medals.

3. It's a little expensive...
But I could use a new anchor.
