Just Saw Article on the Jesus Camp - worships Bush' Picture?
Edited on Mon Sep-18-06 07:57 AM by leftyladyfrommo
How did I miss all of this stuff? Like we don't have enough craqy people running around in this world. We don't need a bunch of completely nuts Jesus freaks. Worship Bush, speak in tongues - do they handle snakes and drink battery acid?

But this does remind me of the Jesus Freaks of the 70's. They were pretty nuts, too. And really annoying. And all of the other wierd cults that were going on then - the Moonies and the Children of God.

I just saw this article over on RawStory.com - amazing. But not really surprising.

1. We should be more worried about the Christofascist we have here
than we should be about the Islamofascist over there.

2. We do have to fight them over here
Radical Christians in this country led by radical christian clerics are the number one threat to our constitution. They have no use for the constitution and do not want law abiding, tax paying citizens whom they hate in the name of Jesus Christ to share in constitutional liberties. They are proud of their ignorance and hide their cowardice.

6. They certainly do manage to steal a lot of money from people
who can't afford it.

I see something like this and I immediately look for the money trail. It is always there.

The faithful are also easily duped.

14. Anyone who worships a picture of Bush just isn't right in the head.

4. I don't think the religious fanatics here are anywhere near as
dangerous. So far they haven't tried to use suicide bombers. When that happens we will know that we are in big trouble.

11. They don't believe in individual suicide, just mass suicide
They want to blow up the entire planet, not just one place.

Hopefully they will drink the kool-aid before they get away with it.

9. The Moonies are still intimately involved in this...they are heavily
invested in the Bushes and in these giant "Christian" churches.
