Former Labor Dept. Mining guy under Clinton on cspan2..
His name is McAteer abd he is showing devices currently available and in use in China and Australia that might have saved lives. Of course, the current occupant of that Labor Dept. position thinks these devices are no good.

1. So what else is new?
Clinton's appointments were qualified for their jobs and *'s aren't. End of story.

2. My uncle worked for Mine Safety Appliances
for over 40 years. A staunch repub, ex-Marine, etc (you get the picture) You don't even want to hear what he has to say about the people who are nullifying the products he helped produce that would save lives...many of which are still sitting in the warehouse and had to be taken as a tax writeoff.
