2. It is a great plan and I am not giving up on the Democrats yet
If they win and STILL don't implement this plan than I will but till then they haven't been in power in order to pass initiatives off like this..but we'll see starting in Nov.

3. They really need to get that list on the front page of the site
I really like those 6 points and I think America will too if they ever hear about them.

4. It is a good starting point
but thanks to six years of Bushista mismanagement, we are in deep kimshi and we need not be underestimating the difficulty of repairing the damage done to this country. The six points are a good place to start but we got a lot more thinking and working to do.

7. Ask the asshole who tells you this why the Repukes keep saying
that when every time a Dem comes up with something, they scream about how it will raise their taxes?

Their "No Plan" bullshit is negated by the "Where will Dems get the money for that? Taxes." bullshit they've been spouting every time that a Dem opens his or her mouth ...

8. on MTP yesterday
Russert turned that around a little on Allen. He asked what "Stay the Course" meant. Allen really didn't have a good answer. It was all rhetoric, no substance. It sounded like REPUBLICANS were the ones with no plan. Webb had a detailed plan and Allen had, "well, we don't tuck tail and run" Rhetoric vs. a detailed plan. Score one for us on that, I thought.

9. Great. Only one quibble.
Can we stop referring to the United States of America as "The Homeland"?

Really. It blows big time. It's CREEPY. Anyone who uses that Hitler-esque jingoist term loses all credibility with me.

15. I prefer the word "Homeworld" myself
Yea all kidding aside though I agree. I'm thinking of that Robin Williams bit where he talks about how Homeland security is a ripoff of Homefront security. Which was England! I found the enemy and buried him in shit! (Where "shit" rhymes with "light")

10. Actually, The Plan Is More Fundamental
When the minority party sees the current powers that be are doing everything WRONG, and that nothing they promised has come to fruition, the first plan must be to stop further damage!

One does not come up with a better recipie for chili when the stove is on fire! First step: Put the fire out!

11. Always accuse the Other Guy of your Own weakness.
That's what is behind this Talking Point. It's the Big Lie Redux.

Trouble is, and I've seen this first hand in the media, some TV Pundit (TVP), who shall be unnamed, spits out the question; "What's the Democratic Plan?"

The Democratic Guest (DG) will then give a somewhat detailed reply outlining some Democratic What Paper on the subject.

To which the TVP will then say, "Yea, but what's the DEMOCRAT Plan? Why aren't you all behind this?", implying , of course, that the R's DO have a PLAN even if it's only STC (Stay the Course) or as it is better known; SOS (Same Ol'Shit).

12. Thank you Adam Nagourney
This is Bush's war. It will be Bush's war even when he is out of office and the war is still going on. It's not the Democrats job to have a plan.

13. Democrats do have a plan but they keep getting shot down
by the repigs in any resolution they vote on, everything is done on party lines, again these thugs are more concerned about their party than the people. We all just have to get out there and VOTE in November, to save this country and ourselves.
