Media preparing for Iran invasion
Edited on Sun Sep-17-06 08:00 PM by boolean
Here we go!
http://www.cnn.com/2006/WORLD/meast/09/17/coverstory.tm.iran.tm/index.html

Let's face it. No matter whether the media is slanted to the left or the right, ultimately it comes down to ratings that they care about. And a war equals a lot of money for the mainstream media.

Thus, the "story", "What war with Iran would look like".

This feels a hell of a lot like deja vu to me. Remember how Iraq started. It stared first with the media "asking the question", then the lies, the build up, and finally the invasion. If the Diebold machines steal another election and nobody does anything about it, THERE WILL BE AN INVASION OF IRAN.

Guarantee it.

1. my nightmare always begins and ends the same way...
after the mid-terms, shrub bombs Iran, (starts WWIII) and it ends when they cancel the 2008 elections because of National Security. Then everything goes black and I wake up screaming.

2. If Bush makes war on Iran ...
... there's a whole lot of Republicans who will be voting for impeachment.

And they'll be going to Git'mo with the rest of us.

3. We're not going to any prison camp THEY are
Bushie no longer has his little grip of fear over the American public. The majority have risen against him and continue to do so in greater numbers by the day.

If anything we're likely to see him go the way of Mussolini than Hitler only difference being that he is so incompetent he couldn't even make the damn trains run on time.

5. Jimmy Carter said that the Bush Regime is
pushing Iran to develop a nuke because of the invasion threat. Iran has the right to developer peaceful nuclear power under the Intl. Law. The RWing War Mongers are pushing Iran to defend itself against an attack. This is another massive failure of the Bush Regime. Mr. Carter is absolutely correct. The only remedy is Impeachment of the Pres.,VP, Sec. of Defense and Sec. of State. They are War Criminals that have violated the US Constitution many times.

4. I no longer believe the 'ratings' rationale...
it's more like the 'greater gain' to be had, not by media companies, but by the conglomerates who own them.
