Robin Williams' "Man of the Year" opens next month
Barry Levinson and Robin Williams team up for the third time in Man of the Year, a politically themed comedy to be released in mid-October 2006. In it, Williams plays the host of a politically oriented late-night talk show who runs for president as a stunt. The problem is--he wins. The cast is impressive, with Laura Linney, Jeff Goldblum and Christopher Walken joining Williams. As in previous efforts, Levinson both wrote and directed this film.

watch the trailer:

The irony is that this character, even tho he's a comedian and talk show host, runs circles around the current WH squatter.

5. Yep
And given Jon Stewart's acting abilities, I'm glad they chose Robin Williams to portray him instead. ;)

7. Is it a sequel to Good Morning Vietnam?
I'd vote for Adrian Branauer (assuming I could spell it on my write in ballot)

8. Read the synopsis... and vote this up!!!!
"After a flip comment, Dobbs ignites a grassroots movement that puts him on the ballot. Hot on the campaign trail, he debates elected drones and says exactly what frustrated voters have often thought. Nov. 2nd later, the muckraker wins--only to learn that a computer voting error gave him the victory. With time ticking on the inaugural clock, Dobbs has a big decision to make: should he go back behind the mike or stay in the Oval Office?"
