They are discussing how the abuse started and got out of hand.
Janis Karpinski said she did not know what was going on. Aidan Delgado is a conscientious objector, who was a guard there.

1. Yeh, but "liberal" CBS's 60 Minutes has a piece on internet gambling
Also profiles of Howard Stern and some tight end from the NFL. You think this Abu Ghar-ga-garubb thingy is more important?

This is Avi Lewis's new show. He did a great job of letting everyone have their say. It was frank, thought provoking and enlightening, I thought. I'm looking forward to future shows.

3. Yes, Gen. Karpinsky was the prime scapegoat yet
she should have known what was going on. Maybe she didn't want to know? I don't believe her story. The higher ups knew because they encouraged the abuse and torture.

5. About Karpinsky
I am tending to lean more to believing her. She said that the interrogations were held late at night when there was a curfew on and unless there was a major emergency, travel just wasn't allowed during those times for her to make surprise inspections at Abu Graib. She was also in charge of many other prisons.

She seemed genuinely ticked off about what went on and pointed out that the people in charge of interrogations were not military (the usual), but intelligence and contractors.

Excellent show all around. Amazing depth and valuable opinions. What a contrast to what I see on corporate america shows of the like.

btw - Todays show was a repeat - the original was on Wednesday night at 9:00.
