Chris Matthews had a party and poll with his fellow travelers...
Edited on Sun Sep-17-06 11:21 AM by kentuck
On his show this morning, he showed clips of all the people at his anniversary party.. for his TV show I think? All the usual suspects were there on camera. But they took a poll. The majority at Chris' party said John McCain will be the Republican candidate in 2008 and Hillary will be the Democratic candidate in 2008? I seriously doubt that either will be the candidate for their Party. I don't think either could win the primary battles. Are all these journalists out of touch? I think they are.

(Does Mathews spell his name with one t or two "t's")

2. If this poll is true...then they believe McCain and Hillary are the 2
strongest Cards in their respective Parties.

Whether they succeed in the nom process is another matter. Tis a long way off.

3. CM is obsessed with HC.
He is incredibly out of touch. Remember "the sunny nobility" of Bush?

4. But.....see..that's kinda...a good thing.
'Cause when the REAL nominees get put in place; they won't be ready for it. It'll blindside them, and the well-oiled machine will be undone. Heehee.

5. Drinkie Drinkie Circle Jerking...
That's the world Tweety & Mrs. Tweety live in. They are in a warp of self importance and indulgence. It's almost incestuous as well. Actually Tweety is hoping for a Guiliani/Hillary race. When he was at Ground Zero, Tweety is "interviewing" Rudy and then tries to goad him...sucking up to him about running against Hillary. Finally Guiliani, in a rare moment of being a human, said to Tweety "this really isn't the time or place to discuss this stuff"...Tweety, looking like a kid whose had his ball taken away gushes at him and goes "aww...c'mon, this is Hardball". Like this is some kinda game...all laughs and gossip.

6. It just proves that TV pundits aren't very bright.
It's amazing to me that they still don't get it. They don't understand that the men behind the curtain at GOP-HQ will never let McCain be their candidate.
