Have you noticed how much election fraud is being reported
Edited on Sun Sep-17-06 11:31 AM by ariellyn
around the country now?

You would think that would be a good thing, too.

Unfortunately, I don't. I think that it is a coverup. The republican approach to crime is not to stop the crime but to do more of the crime so that people are not sure where to place the blame.

Before this current wave of election fraud reporting, the crimes were traceable to Diebold, Wally O'Dell, and a few electronic voting company manufacturers. Everybody remembers Rob Georgia. And we know what happened in Volusia county in 2000. We had the Bev Harris fiasco, and a drip drip drip of information about fraud that led to what I think was a breakthrough--the universities that tested electronic voting machines were able to scientifically prove their fallibility. Once these studies started to become public, so did more election fraud and reports of electronic machines' vulnerabilities.

In Wisconsin, they are reporting more votes than voters. In Mexico we know what happened. The national news is prepping voters for the fall elections by stating that we should expect problems with electronic machines.

This barrage of reporting is a smokescreen that will now give "proof" to thieving republicans to use against democrats who assign blame for the fraud to republicans.

1. no one ever mentions the party ties of Diebold, that should tell you

3. There's too many of us against them that any "Diebold - ing" would

be glaringly apparent.

They are about to "pay the piper" and it will look ugly but they can't CHEAT large gaps and landslides.

Hang tough, vote and take others to vote. The operative word is VOTE! :-) :hi:

On edit: Also find comfort in the fact that they couldn't have trashed our country any worse if they actually tried. It's easy to SKIM a few numbers when the votes are close, but NOW their jig is truly UP.

6. they can cheat and will. they have been getting away with it.
even if prepolling shows a repub losing by 20 points, and exit polls agree, and there is bigtime evidence of fraud, and the numbers dont add up.

what will happen when the repub is declared the winner in a squeaker?

probably the same as before, little or nothing, and they will take office, and we will be shit out of luck again.

10. Don't give up! I believe that God hates a quitter so I'll stay strong.
No disrespect for you personally, but dammit, you have to give it all you got! Right now there's no decent alternative.

I will not ever surrender and --> RIGHT NOW, the objective is to get out there in LARGE NUMBERS and VOTE!

That's the PRIMARY mission for November.

I honestly believe that they (RW REPUBLICANS) are NOT THAT TALENTED to counter elections that deal with a larger spread than 3 points.

Don't give up, our opponents are Ideologies who really are NOT that smart. Also factor in some of the mid level cronies are realizing that our country is going down the toilet and will be less likely help them to steal this election.

Please consider fighting the good fight? :hi:

17. I'm honestly sorry you feel that way, for it's the glimmers of humanity
that I can glean from others and my faith in God's true goodness that comforts me each and every day.

Justice may not be realized in this world but I know in my heart that I can look in the mirror without shame and do what I can to help those around me.

IMO, there is a WEALTH goodness and humanity in this world, we just have to "make it happen" and associate with those who are of like mind.

I respect your opinion but hope that you are proved wrong. :hi:

4. 1 of 2 different scenarios
1. Trying to "get ahead of the story" which is bound to come out .....
problem is that all this stuff was known in 2004 and before i.e. the machines
WERE MADE TO BE HACKED and evidence of such vote switch and hacks were
"out there."

2. Repugs will scream "vote fraud and bad machines" after they get their asses
kicked this fall.

And the O.P. is spot on about Volusia County, FL 2000

"DELAND, Fla., Nov. 11 - Something very strange happened on election night to Deborah Tannenbaum, a Democratic Party official in Volusia County. At 10 p.m., she called the county elections department and learned that Al Gore was leading George W. Bush 83,000 votes to 62,000. But when she checked the county's Web site for an update half an hour later, she found a startling development: Gore's count had dropped by 16,000 votes, while an obscure Socialist candidate had picked up 10,000--all because of a single precinct with only 600 voters."

15. Then don't look @ this Ohio 04 ballot
http://www.flickr.com/photos/30467815@N00/236965142

opti scan no light through = no vote for Kerry
also Nader is on the ballot too ... he was ruled off in Sept of
04 .... yet he still made it on the ballot

also Claremont County had every single precinct go to bush ...
including ones that went to Gore in 2000 and some that were
majority African American.

We have the data we have the evidence .... when is the "liberal media"
going to touch this story?

that is huge!!!
In Wisconsin, they are reporting 38000 more votes than voters. In Mexico we know what happened. The national news is prepping voters for the fall elections by stating that we should expect problems with electronic machines.

16. You'd think so. But people have had six years of this.
So far, they've been more concerned with American Idol and buying flag decals at Wal-Mart to show what patriotic 'Murikins they are. Patriotism in this country is about flash and symbolism. It doesn't seem to have anything to do with actually protecting democracy and defending the Constitution. :(

13. Seems to me we don't have a democracy if we can't accurately cast
votes and then count them.

Isn't voting the basis for a democracy?? It would seem to me that would be something a government might want to focus on. That is, unless they are riggng elections.

19. Yes they ARE rigging elections. Not just here but I believe interfering
in elections overseas in order to mask what's happening in America.

We have seen nothing but elections that are neck and neck, for years. The statistical probability of so many elections running so closely just doesn't pan out. It doesn't take a mathematical genius to figure that out. But, people just seem to accept anomaly after anomaly without question.
