Serious Question... Has an American President been charged with WAR CRIMES
Edited on Sat Sep-16-06 08:02 PM by KyndCulture
I've googled and searched but I can't find the answer...

Has the Commander and Chief ever been brought before an international tribunal for war crimes? According the the Internation Tribunal court for War Crimes?

The tribunal included a former U.S. Attorney General.

5. I think the jury is still out on this one, he sure should be investigated
because on the surface it appears he very well may have been committing war crimes. there is always a first for everything.

7. funny, I was thinking the same thing earlier today
I was wondering why junior was getting his knickers in such a twist over the McCain, Graham and Werner's legislation and then I was listening to Olbermann the other night and it dawned on me......junior is scared shitless that he IS going to end up in front of the Hague. And if he goes it is conceivable members of Congress could end up there for supporting junior.....

I believe THIS is going to be McCain's revenge on junior.

9. Not "brought before" a tribunal, but...
The first Pres. Bush was accused of war crimes and a tribunal considered the case in 1991-1992.
http://deoxy.org/wc/warcrim2.htm
This written accusation was summarized by Ramsey Clark. The tribunal in New York concluded:
" The members of the International War Crimes Tribunal finds each of the named accused Guilty "

http://www.beyondintractability.org/essay/int_war_crime_tribunals/
But they were not punished.

17. Thanks and welcome. I was looking for links and here you've
gone and done it already.

I'm amazed at how many of the sheeple have no idea that idiot frat boy is just continuing a time-honored family tradition. The BFEE began with the Nazi's and has stayed loyal to them, and their methods, for almost 70 years.

20. Bush, Clinton and Bush were all accused by tribunals
Thanks for the welcome!
Here are some links to war crimes tribunals accusing Clinton and Bush II:
http://www.freerepublic.com/forum/a376f4e67132c.htm
http://www.peoplejudgebush.org/
Ramsey Clark was a leader in these tribunals against Bush, Clinton, and Bush.
But those three presidents did not countenance the tribunals.
