Set TIVO's& VCR's! Eric Boehlert's "LapDog Press" at 10:00p.m. C-Span!
that's East Coast time! Eric used to write for Salon.com. I hear it's an excellent read about our Corrupt Media! So, his Presentation and "Q&A" should be a good watch.

Here's "Viva's" link to the C-Span Schedule in case you want to tape anything else tonight:

8. The book is very good.
I just wish he'd done a better job of acknowledging the few lone brave media outlets out there who DIDN'T roll over for Bush. I think they deserved more credit than they got. It was like he was trying to prove his point that the media were all in lockstep with Bush, and if some media figures didn't quite fit in with his thesis, he just ignored them.

18. It was really good and glad to see he's as outraged as some of us are.
Liked that he brought up Gannon and wasn't it interesting that he felt Dan Rather could have done more in his time at CBS, while pointing out how many had their careers ruined because of the AWOL story which discourages anyone else from doing hard journalism on BushCo.

I really enjoyed seeing him because I was a fan of his back in the old Salon Days when he was a reporter there...when Salon was the only place that was defending Clinton against the RW Media. When Salon was the Good Guy breaking news with great writers on the Left. First time I ever read Joe Conason was over there ...he and Murray Waas did great reporting on how the RW went after Clintons and the whole Whitewater/Ken Starr Crap.

It was a good watch. Unfortunately followed by Pat Buchanan who was shouting and carrying on so much about how the Mexicans are taking over America that I had to turn him off. And, I was really interested in hearing what he had to say until he started sounding like a crazy.

16. "I have yet to find anyone who was fired for Whitewater stories...
they even won awards, when they were completely made-up stories"

This in response to a question about Dan Rather and the AWOL monkey story.
