1. absolutely NO...I see some republicans joining Democrats
denouncing this effort to protect his ASS. The GC is far more important to the World that the aspirations of the BFEE. He's trying but will fail.

He might use his trump card. Martial Law.

2. Almost #4
He'll ram them through with a lame duck congress angry over its defeat at the polls.

They'll give our tinpot emperor anything he wants in their last couple of months in session.

Unless there is a huge Dem majority, it will all stand. He'll veto any attempt to overturn it.

If he passes a lot of unconstitutional horse shit, their best tactic will be to impeach.

They'll gladly give you Bush and Cheney and Rumsfeld as long as you don't go after the real powerbrokers deep inside the business community, the barons who work on Wall Street and benefited from his tax cuts and helped to build the bombs and machines that flattened Iraq.

5. If Hanging Discourages the Enablers in Government, It Is a Good Thing
And as for the Scaifes and such, they will have to die, probably after watching their plans go smash, and maybe even after seeing their fortunes evaporate.
