"we didn't ask for this war..." so says the little man.
"It's a dangerous world" raved the wee one as he ranted about how he needs to wage "this different type of war" thrust on us on that day. The little man never learned history, that is evident. He does not deal in reality; that is also evident. He chose this war. America chose this war. And the world is dangerous because of the historical choices we have made.

Great leader???? No. Wee, little man. Yes. Wee little man trying to wear his father's suit.

typical bush blueblood bullshit

Nice alliteration but I think the best description for bush (and this goes for his father, too) is "ho."

2. This is what happens when you have a president...
who doesn't know history, is completely devoid of any intellectual curiosity and who never before traveled outside of this country. Will this nightmare never end?

6.  ... who's led a life of privilege, expressed a desire to be a dictator
gets his instructions from God and acknowledges that the "haves and have mores" are his base.

4. Listen well Skidmore
The levies in Bush's head have long broken. All that is between those two big ears is fetid water, lies, death and destruction.

8. Yeah he knows history...
That's the problem. He probably seeks to emulate every despot and tyrant. However 'government' is clearly something that does not interest him.

9. He dreams to invade the Bolcheviks just to prove it can be done...
(And to get their oil for his buddies in BigOil.)
Yeah. He "blasted" the guys at Yalta for not having done that (FDR's "legacy").

Whatta lunatic...

10. So he knows that history is written by the victors
I think that's all he learned about history and he's counted on that. He probably sees no real moral difference between the North and the South or the Allies and the Axis, just believing that the victor has always appeared more virtuous than the defeated. You can do anything you want -- fix elections, invade other countries, engage in torture and unlawful imprisonment -- as long as you're on top at the end of it all. Now it looks like he's not going to be victorious and that scares the hell out of him cuz he has no backup plan. He failed to learn the one important lesson of American history, that we a never great unless we are first good.

11. True...he did choose the war in Iraq.
He chose to break all the laws. Is he going to argue that the Devil made him do it?

13. When I read about what he said
I was reminded of abusive spouses. They beat the shit out of the wife/girlfriend, and then claim that the victim MADE him do it by her actions. It's never his fault, it's always the victim's. It's the same with Iraq, Bush is saying that we didn't ask for war, but Saddam MADE us act. It's the reasons the victim is at fault that keep changing, though.

Weapons of mass destruction, being a bad, bad man, freeing the Iraqi people, spreading democracy, whatever, the abusive prez has given excuse after excuse for this fiasco, but it's never, ever, ever his fault. No, somebody MADE him do it.
