I have no comment ... this one speaks for itself
I...I... just.... :nuke:  :silly: :grr: Wrap your brains around this one, folks:

On another anti-terror matter, with Osama bin Laden still at large five years after the 9/11 attacks, Bush said he could not send thousands of troops into Pakistan to search without an invitation from the government. "Pakistan's a sovereign nation," Bush said.

34. Nope, nukes trump oil every time
They are sovereign because they can blow up the world or at least a healthy chunk of it.

We only go after small, mostly defenseless countries that have oil. That's why this posturing with Iran is a little out there - they have oil but they also have a much better military and probably have some amazingly nasty weapons with which to defend themselves unlike Iraq.

Seems the only people who can 'wrap their brains' around any Bush statement these days are the people who don't actually have any 'brains' to wrap around anything.

Go figure ...

30. I was hoping someone would post that.
Extending the logic, torture would be defined as someone torturing someone else. Clear to me.
No need to clarify the Geneva treaty. Game over.

21. Pakistan is in a very precarious situation. They are on the the edge
of an islamic revolution, they have nukes, and it is a "US friendly" dictatorship. I don't think that jr wants to upset the apple cart in Pakistan right now. They really don't think that going after UBL is worth causing a revolution there.

We are not in the position to just march into Pakistan without lighting a powder keg and expanding an unwinnable war. Of course, Chimpy can avoid telling the American People this basic truth by hiding behind his facade of utter stupidity.

31. First paragraph of link
"President Bush fought back Friday against a Republican revolt in the Senate over tough anti-terror legislation and rejected warnings that the United States had lost the high moral ground to adversaries. "It's flawed logic," he snapped. "

Notice the use of the word "snapped"!!!

Congress should drop everything and pass a law forbiding B*** from using the word "logic".
It's bad for the children.
