Today * said what his exit strategy is.
"Look, we all want the troops to come home as quickly as possible. But they'll be coming home when our commanders say the Iraqi government is capable of defending itself and sustaining itself and it's governing itself."

Well, I have two questions.

1) Is he telling the truth?

2) Is this even possible?

1. Is it even possible that he's telling the truth? No.

2.  I have an exit strategy for him....
Impeachment, removal from office, arrest, trial and life in a prison for international war criminals.

3. He's lying and it will never happen. But he won't admit he
fucked up so royally, and what's some spilled blood, as long as it's not his or his loved ones?

5. I got another question.
Why does he always put the political decisions on "our commanders"? Commanders in the field?

6. 1) No, he is lying. Here's what he said last month:
Edited on Fri Sep-15-06 08:52 PM by blonndee
"And secondly, will we continue to stay engaged in helping reformers, in working to advance liberty, to defeat an ideology that doesn't believe in freedom?

And my answer is, so long as I'm the president, we will. I clearly see the challenge. I see the challenge to -- with -- with these threats posed to our homeland, and I see the challenge these threats posed to the world."

<snip>

The tactics -- now, either you say, yes, it's important that we stay there and get it done, or we leave. We're not leaving so long as I'm the president. That would be a huge mistake. It would send an unbelievably, you know, terrible signal to reformers across the region. It would say we've abandoned our desire to change the conditions that create terror. It would give the terrorists a safe haven from which to launch attacks. It would embolden Iran. It would embolden extremists. No, we're not leaving.

9. I heard that "POS POTUS" say today the New Iraqi Army has
some 290,000 troops/soldiers trained with a goal of 325,000.. what I want to see is a "Dress Parade" on the scale of Russia's May Day celebrations. Then for sure I'd believe our money went to good cause.

Dress Parade right down Baghdad's Main Street.

290K trained troops (Rotf)

the government is in chaos because of the shia, sunni, and kurd division over the future of iraq

no we are never leaving as long as bush has power over the republican congress. the war will drag on until enough people say -no more.
