So Howie Fineman on Olbermann
says Bush is now concerned with history, with his legacy.

GIVE ME A FUCKING BREAK! His legacy???????? His legacy of ignoring the Geneva convention, his legacy of a few years down the line when our soldiers, our citizens are being tortured (oh excuse me interrogated!)and held and that country, saying so the frigging what-YOU DO IT AMERICA.

Do the freaking Republicans realize this embarrassment to history will be out of office in two long more nightmare years? Do they give a crap about their legacy, aiding and abetting this thug?

Do they have any decency? Do they see what history books are going to say about these years?

Most compliant congress in history-Ms. Barbara Boxer.

God save their souls. Because if they continue to compromise an inch with this cretin that happens to be the president of the United States of America-the forgiveness they are going to be asking for is going to be at the pearly gates not just from the voters.

1. Bush is worried about getting charged with war crimes
and he's working on his alibis.

2. I know
They are trying to re-write the laws to fit make the crimes of yesterday okay. The fact that they are doing this and anyone is considering giving him an inch makes me incredulous. As another said here, what country is this?

The supreme court said it's not okay-so hey congress make it okay! The conventions that the civilized decent world accepts as necessary- I don't like-so change them. That anyone is giving this thug credence blows my fricking mind.

3. And the CIA interrogators are buying insurance to help pay
their legal bills---they don't think they'll get much help from shrub or the shrub based justice department. DUH!!!

5. Fortunately, Bush no longer has the political clout
to force Congress to do what he wants anymore. Especially after all the DOD lawyers told him to go stuff it yesterday.

Bush is in panic mode, sit back and enjoy.

4. I thought he was concerned with that
pig.... that's what I heard.

Bush kept bringing up the roast wild boar he was about to dine on at a banquet that night, even when asked about the swelling crisis in the Middle East, where pig meat is forbidden to religious Jews and Muslims.

7. I believe it was Tweety
And he was oh so sickening--saying that Congress will reach a compromise with the Chimp. And saying that Bush wasn't speaking to the American people, but to himself and to history!! What the hell does that mean? That he talks to himself and has a Napoleonic complex? All good reasons to get him out of the highest office in the land.

I thought Fineman was particularly soft on Bush tonight--assuring us that this will all blow over and the Repukes will make nice.
