be required to watch a few of the "harshest" interrogations?

(Think how long they'll last then . . . even with a Republican congress.)

I'd like to see a requirement that Bush, Condi, Dick, and Karl HAVE to watch at least one harsh interrogation per month.

5. You've got to be kidding

Dick brings the popcorn every night to the "interrogation show" at the undisclosed location.

Condi wears her "special" outfit. And we don't even want to know what KKKarl does in the back row.

8. Frist would no doubt have multiple orgasms watching such a thing.
Remember what he did to those sweet innocent little Kitties.

I suspect Bush, Cheney, Rove, and Rumsfeld might actually enjoy such a display. Might remind them of the Roman Emporers watching the paupers get mauled for their entertainment. Condi might have a difficult time with it, I suppose, I'm still not 100% sure about her tolerance level.

That might just be me being sexist, though, I know that shouldn't matter, but I keep thinking women = Moms, and it would seem they'd have a higher level of compassion for mankind.

No insults meant to DU women, I do support equal rights for all - regardless.

9. How many in congress would tolerate the practices if they saw them?
I wonder.

11. That would be interesting to know.
I do like the idea of televising, though. I know America at large would not tolerate such a display of abuse. Hard to believe they would stand behind a pResident that would want to do such things.

12. I propose that Rummy, Gonzalez, and John Yoo be subjected
to these "interrogation methods" in order to test their effectiveness.

13. They know what's going on and it doesn't bother them. The
only way to get their attention would be to do it to them. They just want to soften us up to agreeing with them so they don't end up in prison.

14. I vote that we apply the same idea that they want for the microwave weapon
to torture. If Congress can withstand what they have planned, then have at it. When they break down like the little boys they are, then that's where the line gets drawn. Start with Frist and Hastert and see how long they last before they declare it 'inhumane'.

I am only stating the obvious. They want to do it to others, then do it to each other first. Frat boy games Wouldn't be so fun then, me thinks.

15. Or we could use this issue simply as a campaign tool in speeches:
"Why won't the White House let members of congress witness some of the more 'agressive' interrogations?"

And they won't. I'm sure.

But this would make some in the public question the techniques, I think.

16. Police often get voluntarily 'tasered' so they'll know what it feels like.
So why not have Bush and Congress undergo a day or so of torture before approving its unlimited use on others?

That would be fair, even prudent.

Not Republican, in other words.

17. .
Interesting suggestion. Remember the pictures of police men who had to suffer through one shot of these "non-lethal" Taser things so that they know how it feels getting hit?
Maybe those who legislate, should witness what it is really like.
