Is this the final season of West Wing?
'Will & Grace' To End In May

(Los Angeles, California) NBC announced on Sunday that "Will & Grace" will go off the air in May. There had been talk for months that this was to be the series last season, but until now NBC had not made an official announcement.

"It is a bittersweet moment for all of us at NBC to confirm that this will be the final season of the comedy 'Will & Grace,'" said NBC Entertainment President Kevin Reilly in a Sunday night statement that also announced the cancellation of "The West Wing".

Reilly said that "Will & Grace" will have a two-hour finale Thursday, May 18. The first hour, from 8-9 will be a retrospective. The second hour, beginning at 9, will be the final episode.

Sources at the network say the final episode will include a baby and a wedding but they would not be more specific about the plot.

1. Good to know that Will and Grace is going off the air
Of course, it doesn't really matter to me. But I hate even hearing people talk about it.

And, yes, this is the end of The West Wing.

No big deal for me, I never watched it.

3. Thank heavens for small mercies
Though, on the down side, there will be years of repeats to avoid.

5. They just confirmed it in sunday's AAR news spot.
This is the last season of West Wing. The finial episode will appear sometime in may from what I've heard.

6. The West Wing cancellation breaks
my heart. It was one of the finest shows ever to grace a television. A real class act that ripoffs like the Geena Davis vehicle can never match. It was never the same after Sorkin left, but I still loved it. I will miss the characters and will surely lament long into the future:

"Why can't Jed Bartlett be my real president?!"

7. It broke my heart when I heard that yesterday.
It is the only network show I watch regularly. I use to watch "American Dreams", but they canceled that show last year.
