4. Holy crap! Your excitement seems a bit misplaced!
It's not exactly a shocker for anyone to say that Iraq is in civil war, but it's particularly unsurprising when Peter Galbraith says so. He's essentially a spokesman for Kurdish interests -- nothing wrong with that; they were screwed and deserve a high-visibility US voice as much as anyone -- and so he's going to emphasize anything that points to Iraq breaking apart, which is what the Kurds want.
